Sorry for the late post for I've been away from home the last two weeks. So, I'm gonna deliver this vacation post visually. Yes, you read that right. I had another vacation with the family! Our last family vacay was three years back at Thailand. Actually, we planned this vacay last two year but it was delayed due to bad weather during the year end. If you still remember, Johor was flooded after the continuous rain days and nights.


We're really grateful for Uncle Kang's sponsor on our 3-nights stay at Hotel Granada Johor Bahru. Us and them kids testing the lighting in our room before heading out!

A tea time sip

After dinner at around 9 something, we went to The Zon as typical tourists rushing in stores at the very last minute to have a look at duty free items which deemed to be cheaper at such store before they end their day. But, I think not for every items. Nothing really to look around but I found the lighting at the center hall are quite nice. So, I took a photo of it.

We then head to the waterfront nearby as another path to walk back to our cars. It was relaxing walking down the pavement. There were a lot of people at the side enjoying the wind blow together with their supper snacks.

Tampoi Satay

Uncle Kang wanted to introduce us to a really good otak-otak nearby but he couldn't track down where the stall was since the last time he went there. Instead, he brought us to another place, Cedar Point Hawker Center for some pork satay. Good one! We had another serving of it.

Helix Bridge

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

We're all hungry after touring around, from Marina Bay Sands to Helix Bridge to Marina Bay Grandstand to the Merlion then all the way back to Marina Bay Sands again. Without further ado, we headed to the food court there and then even it was lunch time - a particular period where you can see a swarm of people are likely to be seen nearby food area. And it was difficult to get a place when you have big groups. It's either got chairs no table, or got table not enough chairs.

Puteri Harbour

The next day was well spent at Kota Iskandar. Not even a single penny is needed here. You just have to reach here just before the sun sets. Each and every shutter captures a really nice photo. On top of that, our childhood was rekindled when our eyes met these cuties.
